# esdk-settings-generator

This is a python tool based on pydevicetree
([GitHub](https://github.com/sifive/pydevicetree)/[PyPI](https://pypi.org/project/pydevicetree/))
which generates the settings.mk files for freedom-e-sdk.

## Usage

```
usage: generate_settings.py [-h] -t TYPE -d DTS [-o OUTPUT]

Generate Freedom E SDK settings.mk from Devicetrees

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -t TYPE, --type TYPE  The type of the target to generate settings.mk for.
                        Supported types include: rtl, arty, qemu, hifive,
                        spike
  -d DTS, --dts DTS     The path to the Devicetree for the target
  -o OUTPUT, --output OUTPUT
                        The path of the settings.mk file to output
```
