## Elevating your permissions
In order to take administrative steps, including making your repo public, you will need to elevate your account to Admin permissions temporarily.
1. Visit this repos homepage in the opensource portal at https://repos.opensource.microsoft.com/orgs/microsoft/repos/<this-repo>.
1. On the right side of the page, under Direct Owner access, click Elevate your access and follow the prompts for Just-in time access.
1. Come back to github, and refresh the repo.  You should see a new Settings tab.
